van Tets G.F., Waterman M.H. and PurchaseD.  (1976). Dispersal Patterns of Cormorants Banded in South Australia.  The Australian Bird Bander 14:43-46

The recoveries of bands from 116 Black Cormorants Phalacrocorax carbo, 1326 Pied Cormorants, P. varius 55 Little Black Cormorants P. sulcirostris, 49 Little Pied Cormorants P. melanoleucos, and 444 Black-faced Cormorants P. fuscescens are mapped. The five species were found to differ in their gross habitat preferences and thus presumably they avoid competition for food.

Clancy G.P. (1976). Plumage Notes on Nankeen Kestrels.  The Australian Bird Bander 14:47-49

Recently G.R. and A.E. Cam (1975) discussed results of banding free-flying Kestrels Falco cenchroiodes  to obtain information on various aspects of their life history. This paper compares my results with the Cams' and suggests that wing covert markings may be useful in age determination of kestrels.

Rose A.B.  (1976). Mass of Wild Birds of the Order Caprimulgiformes The Australian Bird Bander 14:50-51

In a period of over three years from 1966 to 1969, 28 Blue-faced Honeyeaters Entomyzon cyanotis  were banded mainly with the intention of associating facial skin colour and age.

Lane S.G.  (1976). Results from Banding Southern Yellow Robins. The Australian Bird Bander 14:63-66

Some details of plumage changes, sex-related wingspan measurements, longevity, movement and mass of Southern Yellow Robins Eopsaltria australis are given. The data are taken mainly from the records of a 17-year survey at North Ryde, New South Wales.

Boehm E.F. (1976). Notes on the Zebra Finch. The Australian Bird Bander 14:70-71

Zebra Finches Taeniopygia castanotis occur irregularly on the Mount Mary Plains, South Australia, and their presence is not always dependent on very wet and good (farming) seasons. In the exceptionally good years of 1973-74, there were few of these birds present. During severe droughts, there may be no finches in the area.
